Yaw Dabo Sues Oboy Siki Over Defamatory Comments
Ghanaian actor and football academy owner takes legal action over alleged damaging remarks made during media interview
Ghanaian actor and football academy owner Samuel Nana Yaw Dabo, popularly known as Yaw Dabo, has filed a defamation lawsuit against fellow actor Oboy Siki following what he describes as false and damaging public statements made against him.
The legal action follows a football match held in Yaw Daboโs hometown, which was attended by several actors and celebrities. According to reports, tensions arose between Yaw Dabo and Oboy Siki during the game over money-related disagreements, leading to a heated exchange.
After the match, Oboy Siki reportedly returned to Kumasi, where he granted an interview to GhPage. During the interview, he allegedly made a number of derogatory remarks about Yaw Dabo, including claims that the actor was โincapable of impregnating a woman,โ โselfish,โ and โnot man enough to get married.โ
Alleged Remarks Spark Public Backlash
The comments quickly went viral on social media, triggering widespread reactions and criticism from the public. Sources close to Yaw Dabo say the actor was deeply disappointed, describing the remarks as not only offensive but also harmful to his personal image and professional reputation.
