What to Know Ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards

The 68th Grammy Awards promise more music, tighter pacing and category changes that could reshape the ceremony.

When and Where Are the Grammys?

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 1, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony begins at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS, with streaming available on Paramount+.

How to Watch the Grammy Awards

Viewers can watch the main ceremony live on CBS or stream it via Paramount+ for premium subscribers. Those on the Paramount+ Essential plan will have access to the show on demand the following day.

The Grammys will also be available through live TV streaming platforms that carry CBS, including Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and FuboTV.

Earlier in the day, the Premiere Ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. from the Peacock Theater. It will stream live on the Recording Academyโ€™s YouTube channel and on live.GRAMMY.com.

Who Is Hosting the 2026 Grammys?

Grammys executive producer Ben Winston praised Noahโ€™s impact, describing him as smart, funny and deeply connected to music culture. Noah now joins a short list of hosts who have led the Grammys six or more times, alongside Andy Williams and John Denver.

Noah is also a Grammy nominee this year in the audiobook, narration and storytelling category for Into The Uncut Grass.

Whatโ€™s New at the 2026 Grammys?

Several notable changes headline this yearโ€™s awards. The best album cover category returns for the first time in more than five decades.

In country music, best country album has been renamed best contemporary country album, while a new best traditional country album category has been introduced. Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. emphasized that the changes were driven by member proposals and votes, not reactions to past winners.

The Academy has also continued expanding and diversifying its voting body, including inviting Latin Grammy voting members to join in recent years.

What to Expect From Performances

Music will take center stage this year, with approximately 18 to 19 performances scheduled across the 3ยฝ-hour broadcast.

Producers say the show will feature a mix of rising stars, established icons and global superstars, with fewer non-musical segments to keep the focus on live performances.
