Senegal to Face Morocco in AFCON Final
Senegal will face host nation Morocco in the AFCON 2026 final on Sunday, January 18, at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium.
Morocco reached the final after defeating Nigeria 4–2 on penalties following a goalless draw in their semi-final clash.
Mané’s AFCON Legacy
Mané previously won the 2021 AFCON, which was Senegal’s first-ever continental title.
The 2026 final will be Senegal’s fourth AFCON final appearance, having featured in 2002, 2019, 2021, and now 2026.
There are also strong indications that Mané could consider ending his international career after the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
