ECG Planned Maintenance: Check Full List of Areas Affected

Customers in affected areas advised to prepare for temporary power interruptions.

ECG planned maintenance exercises have been announced by the Electricity Company of Ghana, with customers in several regions expected to experience temporary power outages beginning Monday, February 16, 2026.

The maintenance works will affect parts of the Tema, Greater Accra, Accra East, and Central regions and are aimed at improving overall service delivery.

Tema Region

In the Tema Region, outages will occur between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Tuesday, February 17

Affected areas include Comm. 16, 17 and 24, Sydal Farms, Adjel Kodjo, Japan City, Global, Teteman, Baatsonaa (Total and Cluster of Schools), Resolve Hospital, Timber Market, Bakeshop, Marina Mall, and surrounding communities.

Wednesday, February 18

FOS Aluminium, Kakalika Plaza, Shell Signboard, Kpogas, and nearby areas.

Thursday, February 19

Lashibi, Emef Estates, High Tension, Celebrity Golf Club, Jotafa, Sakumono (Village and Estates), and surrounding communities.

Greater Accra Region

Outages in the Greater Accra Region will last from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Tuesday, February 17

Odorkor, Awoshie, Odorgonnor, Gbawel, Israel Last Stop, Agradaa, Tuba, Krokrobite, Old Bortianor, Old Aplaku, and surrounding areas.

Wednesday, February 18

Wiaboman, Glefe, Kotoku Shell Filling Station, Red Top, Old Barrier, New Aplaku, Kings University, and nearby communities.

Friday, February 20

Alogboshie, Achimota Neoplan, Benjilo, Cassava Farm, Oshiyie, and surrounding areas.

Accra East Region

Monday, February 16

From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, outages will affect UPSA Hostel, Trinity, Mempeasem, School Junction, parts of Adjiringanor, Obinim Church, Kanda Estate, and nearby areas.

Tuesday, February 17

Mantey Tsuru, TS Guest House, La Cemetery, Burma Camp, Dzorwulu UBA Bank, Odateye Tsui Road, and surrounding communities.

Wednesday, February 18

Ablor Adjei Township, parts of Cantonments, Abokobi Township, parts of Teiman, Adenta Container, Abenwoha, and surrounding areas.

Central Region

Tuesday, February 17

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, affected areas include Eduyaw Owane, Mando, Abaasa, Essarkyir, Goamoamaim, Baah, Afransie, Amai, Eshiem, Entumbil, Ochiso, and surrounding communities.

ECG Advisory

ECG has advised customers in the affected communities to take necessary precautions during the maintenance period, assuring that the planned works are part of efforts to enhance power supply reliability nationwide.
