Man Posing as Soldier for 7 Years Arrested at 37 Military Hospital

A young man who allegedly posed as an officer of the Ghana Armed Forces for seven years has been arrested after his cover was blown at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended while visiting his girlfriend, who is believed to be a nurse at the military hospital. His presence at the facility reportedly raised suspicion, prompting security personnel to question him.

Suspicion Raised During Hospital Visit

Eyewitnesses say the man had for years confidently worn military uniforms and conducted himself like a trained soldier, successfully convincing many people that he was a legitimate member of the armed forces.

However, during questioning at the hospital, he was asked to mention:

  • His commanding officer
  • His rank

Sources say he failed to provide satisfactory answers, immediately exposing him as an impostor.
