The popular Netflix animated film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” has won a Grammy Award at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, thanks to its hit song “Golden.”
The song won Best Song Written for Visual Media, marking a major achievement for the film and its creative team.
From Netflix Release to Global Phenomenon
“K-Pop Demon Hunters” premiered on Netflix on June 20, 2025, quickly becoming one of the platform’s biggest animated successes.
Due to overwhelming demand, the film later received limited theatrical sing-along releases between August 23–24 and October 31–November 2.
The characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey also became pop culture icons, dominating Halloween costumes, with Rumi’s purple braid standing out worldwide.

The main Grammy ceremony was held at Crypto.com Arena and aired on CBS and Paramount+.
