Aura V has made history at the 68th Grammy Awards, becoming the youngest individually credited Grammy winner ever at just 8 years and 7 months old.

She broke the previous record held by Blue Ivy Carter, who won her first Grammy at age 9 in 2021, and Leah Peasall, who was 8 years and 10 months old when she won as part of the Peasall Sisters in 2002.

Winning Album and Category

Aura V won Best Children’s Music Album alongside her father, Fyütch, for their collaborative album titled “Harmony.”

The album beat out other nominees, including Tori Amos and Mega Ran, securing Aura V’s place in Grammy history.

Other Major Grammy Highlights

The 2026 Grammy Awards also saw several historic moments:

  • Tyla won Best African Music Performance for “Push 2 Start”, marking her second win in the category after her 2024 victory for “Water.”
  • Bad Bunny won Album of the Year for his Spanish-language album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” becoming the first Latin artist to win the top prize.
  • Bad Bunny also took home Best Música Urbana Album and used his speech to address immigration, saying, “ICE out,” while emphasizing the humanity of immigrants.
