Global internet personality IShowSpeed has been officially welcomed to Ghana through a traditional Akan naming ceremony, where he was given the local name Barima Kofi Akuffo.
The colourful ceremony took place in the Eastern Region of Ghana on Monday and was marked by royal traditions, cultural performances, and strong community participation.

Meaning Behind the Name “Barima Kofi Akuffo”
During the ceremony, Speed was formally introduced to the traditional ruler, after which he was presented with his Akan name, Barima Kofi Akuffo.
