Why Ebo Noah Was Arrested
Ebo Noah was arrested on December 31, 2025, by the Special Cyber Vetting Team of the Ghana Police Service after his prophecy predicting that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025 caused widespread fear and panic.
Before his arrest, he claimed to have built an โarkโ at his residence to save humanity from the alleged catastrophe.
When the prophecy failed to occur, he later stated that his prayers had caused God to postpone the destruction of the world.
Bail Conditions and Court Date
The self-styled prophet was granted bail on January 15, 2026, in the sum of GHยข100,000 with two sureties. One surety is required to provide verifiable security, either through landed property or a vehicle.
The court warned that failure to comply with the bail conditions could lead to immediate withdrawal of the bail.
The case has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further proceedings.
Charges Against Him
Ebo Noah is facing a charge of publishing false news with intent to cause fear and panic, contrary to Ghanaโs laws.
