Meeting at a Game Centre in Adukrom
Issah explained that he first met Laryea at a game centre located within Saint Paulโs premises in Adukrom, at a time when PlayStation 2 was the most popular gaming console.
Their connection, he said, had nothing to do with football but was built through video gaming.
โHe Was Too Good at Gamesโ
Issah described Laryea as extremely skilled at video games, saying many players avoided competing against him because he almost always won.
He recalled how Laryea regularly dominated matches played under the popular โlose and payโ rule, discouraging others from challenging him.
โAt times, Daniel would come to the game centre and may not even get the chance to hold a game pad because of how good he was,โ Issah said.
A Personal Memory Shared
Issah stressed that game centres at the time were places where friendships were formed briefly, but his memory of Laryea has remained strong over the years.
He described the story as a simple personal reflection from knowing Laryea before fame and controversy.
