Popular Nigerian steamer and social media personality Peller has resumed his livestream after spending one week in detention.

The magician went live on social media on Friday, where he opened up about his experience and explained that he was detained following a car crash incident.

โ€œThey Don Free Meโ€ โ€” Peller Speaks

Addressing his fans during the livestream, Peller confirmed that he had been released and thanked supporters who spoke up on his behalf.

โ€œWeโ€™re free, they don free me. Donโ€™t worry this time around, una go enjoy. I suffered. I was in prison for one week. Things were stressful for me,โ€ he said.

Peller added that he made it clear to the authorities that the crash was not intentional.

Peller said he explained the situation to the police and other authorities and expressed relief after his release.

โ€œI did not purposely do what I do. Thank you guys for coming out for me to tell them to free me, you shall never perish,โ€ he added.

He described the week-long experience as stressful and emotional, while appreciating fans who advocated for his freedom.

Pellerโ€™s return livestream quickly went viral online. Despite the ordeal, he appeared in high spirits, stressing again that he had no bad intentions regarding the car crash.
