The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a public warning following the circulation of a letter on social media claiming that a new recruitment exercise has begun.

In an official statement released on Friday, January 23, GES clarified that the letter being shared online is fake and did not originate from the Service.

According to management, recruitment has not yet started, and the information contained in the circulating letter is false.

GES Clarifies Official Position

“The Management of the Ghana Education Service has sighted a letter circulating on social media, purportedly issued by the Service, alleging the commencement of recruitment,” the statement said.

“Management wishes to inform the general public that recruitment has not yet begun. The letter currently in circulation is fake and does not originate from the Ghana Education Service.”

Official Announcements Will Come From GES Platforms

GES stressed that all official recruitment announcements will be communicated only through its recognised and official platforms.

The Service urged the public to disregard any recruitment information that does not come directly from GES.

“An official announcement will be made exclusively through GES’s official platforms when the recruitment process officially begins,” the statement added.

Public Urged to Verify Information

GES has advised individuals, especially job seekers, to be cautious and verify information before taking any action.

The Service encouraged the public to rely on official GES communication channels for updates on recruitment and other important announcements to avoid falling victim to misinformation or fraud.
